Sega has announced its lineup of games for the Gamescom 2018, which will take place from August 21 to August 25, 2018. There will be a total of six playable games from Sega at the upcoming event, some of which will be playable for the first time ever. Though it doesn’t sound like a huge lineup compared to other developers and publishers, these games are definitely highly-anticipated.
According to Gematsu, the six playable games include Total War Three Kingdoms, Team Sonic Racing, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise, Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight, and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight. Attendees can grab the opportunity to play these games at the Deep Silver booth. Total War Three Kingdoms will be playable for the first time, featuring an exclusive campaign map experience and a night-time ambush battle. It is slated for release sometime in spring 2019, and it will also be the first Total War game to feature two very different gameplay modes, Classic and Romance.
Attendees will also be able to play through a brand new race track, Ice Mountain, in Team Sonic Racing, alongside the reveal of two new playable teams in the game. Besides all that, Football Manager 2019 will make an appearance at Sega’s Gamescom 2018 as well, with a special activation event that will put fans in the firing line for questioning from ESPN journalist Raphael Honigstein. Attendees can also participate in the Football Manager-themed photo booth and receive a Football Manager notebook. Unfortunately, the game itself won’t be playable at the event.
In other related news, Bandai Namco has confirmed a lineup of at least eleven titles, as well as a new title which will be announced at Gamescom 2018. Capcom has also announced that there will be a playable demo of Devil May Cry 5, alongside new story details.
