Ubi Estimates Assassin’s Creed III Has Sold 3.5 Million Copies

Ubisoft’s sales estimates for Assassin’s Creed III are in, and to no one’s surprise, it looks like it has sold more than a few copies during its first week. During the publisher’s latest financial report, sales were ballparked in the 3.5 million range, which doubles the first week numbers of last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

If you’ve read our review or played the game yourself, then I’m sure you’ll agree that the game’s incredible success is well deserved. Here’s to hoping that Ubisoft’s other big fall 2012 title, Far Cry 3, lives up to the hype. It certainly has the potential to be one of the year’s best shooters.

Let us know what you think of AC3 from your time with Connor thus far in the comments below. Oh yeah, and if you’ve already finished the game, be sure to give our latest GR roundtable a listen. It’s both entertaining and educational, I promise.
