Divinity Original Sin 2

Divinity Original Sin 2 Heads to Xbox Game Preview on May 16th

Today, Bandai Namco announced that Larian Studio’s much-loved RPG, Divinity Original Sin 2, will be heading to Xbox Game Preview on the 16th of May. This means that, for those of you lucky people who own an Xbox, can get your hands on the first three hours of the game for free.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is the well-acclaimed sequel to its fantasy RPG predecessor, Divinity Original Sin. Divinity Original Sin 2 was originally released on the PC last year, and since then it has taken RPG fans by storm with its open-ended story campaign and fantastic visuals. The game also expanded the co-op system to support four players, instead of the original two.

What’s more, those who pre-order the game on the Xbox Live Marketplace, the entire first act will be available to play. This is most definitely something you shouldn’t miss out on, especially when you consider that the first act amounts to about 20 hours of gameplay for both you and, depending on how you play, a friend to take advantage of.

Thankfully the progress you make during this trial session will be carried over to the full game when it releases in August, so feel free to go wild or, on the other hand, restart as many times as you want until you’re satisfied with the game your going into when you can get your hands on the final game

The publisher also released an amusing video with the development team of Larian Studios. It detailed how the game was tweaked for the console port and how feedback will be gathered.

Divinity Original Sin 2 will be releasing for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in August this year.
