FromSoftware, best PS4 exclusives

PS Plus Free Games March 2018: Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank, and Mighty No 9

Sony has announced the PS Plus Free Games for March 2018, and they’re doozies. Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank, Mighty No 9 and more are soon available at your fingertips, should you own a PS Plus subscription. As detailed on Sony’s blog, the PS Plus free games will be available from March 6. Joining those three big-name titles are Legend of Kay Anniversary (PS3), Claire: Extended Cut (PS Vita and PS4), and Bombing Busters (PS Vita and PS4). If my math checks out, that’s six games this month, including some of the very best to hit the PS4… for free!

If you still haven’t pulled the trigger on February’s PS Plus Free Games, you have until March 5 to download them. They include Knack, RiME, and Spelunker HD.

Judging by the previous month, PS Plus subscribers will have until April 5 to install any of those games. Should you want to hold off for another month, you can download now and play them at any time as long as you keep your PS Plus subscription active.

It’s not a big stretch to suggest that the PS Plus Free Games for March 2018 output is putting an actual month of new game releases in the shadows. From Software’s seminal RPG/dying simulator is widely regarded as one of the best games of this console generation, while Ratchet and Clank is probably the best movie tie-in of all time. Not that it’s got much in the way of competition. Even Mighty No 9 is a curiosity to be pored over and prodded to see what makes it tick. All in all, a stellar month for the subscription service.
