Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Injustice 2 Legendary Edition will be releasing on March 27th, 2018. This will be the fourth version of Injustice 2 after the standard edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Edition.
The Legendary Edition of Injustice 2 will feature all of the core fighters and all of the DLC characters that have been released in the past. These DLC characters include Darkseid, Red Hood, Starfire, Sub-Zero, Black Manta, Raiden, Hellboy, Atom, Enchantress, and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, all of which will be available from the beginning this time.
All of the Premiere skins, which previously came with the Ultimate Edition, will also be included. These Premiere skins grant players the ability to change Super Girl into Power Girl, Green Lantern Hal Jordan into John Stewart, Flash into Reverse-Flash, Cyborg into Grid, and Raiden into Black Lightning.
Several new features will arrive with Injustice 2 Legendary Edition. The developer will introduce the “Learn Hub”, an improved and expanded tutorial mode, as well as raise the level cap to 30. Reaching level 30 will unlock a new augment slot. Additionally, there will be new gear for all characters.
Players will receive a collectible coin, a “comic exclusive download steel card,” eleven thousand Source Crystals and a steel case when they purchase or pre-order the Day One edition of Injustice 2 Legendary Edition. In our review, we said that Injustice 2 is “soured by lazy, contrived storytelling, and a gear system that stands in opposition to what fighting games should be about. All of this ultimately makes Injustice 2 a step back not only from the original but also from the level of quality we’re used to seeing from NetherRealm.”
Injustice 2 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It was originally released in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
