FIFA 18 FUT Team of the Week 23 Revealed

EA has unveiled its latest FIFA 18 FUT Team of the Week 23, with upgrades inbound for La Liga’s Kevin Gameiro, Jordi Alba and Marco Asensio. Away from Spain, Edinson Cavani’s second in-form card of the season is sure to strike fear into the hearts of defenders everywhere.

The full 23, which you can see below, bring in (and improve on) in-game talent from countries as far-flung as Ukraine and Mexico, ensuring that, no matter your team’s identity, there’s bound to be a player suited for you. The TOTW 23 cards will be in packs from February 21 at 6pm GMT/1pm EST.

The highlights of FIFA 18’s TOTW 23 is undoubtedly its strikeforce. The 85-rated Kevin Gameiro and LW Alex Sandro are welcome boosts to reflect their real-life counterpart’s impressive weeks. Sandro, especially, is certain to go for a high price, should you be thinking about investing in him. For those who have an eye on saving money, or just plain looking for a different sort of team to the norm, should definitely be interested in Real Sociedad’s Sergio Canales or Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt.

The full FIFA 18 TOTW 23 list, with their ratings, is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Ruffier (87), Burkl (86)

Defenders: Glik (86), Alba (86), De Ligt (84), Morrison (78), Vranes (77)

Midfielders: Marco Asensio (86), Bonaventura (86), Marlos (86), Giuliano (86), Canales (84), Giaccherini (82), Hamalainen (79)

Attackers: Cavani (89), Alex Sandro (87), Gameiro (85), Gignac (84), Soares (82), Embolo (81), Djaniny (82), Windass (76), Itten (72).

Who catches your eye? Is it the stronger, more rugged style of Gignac, or would you rather plump for the pure pace of someone like Djaniny? There’s even a Championship shoutout, with Cardiff’s Sean Morrison among those getting an in-form card this week. With 13 nationalities and 12 leagues represented, this week’s offering showcases something from every corner of the globe.
