Jason Graves And Kevin Riepl Composing Resistance: Burning Skies

Composer announcements for video games usually aren't high on gamers' radars unless you're like me, a massive video game soundtrack junkie. That said, though, not many composer announcements make me squeal with delight. This press release from Nihilistic Software did just that.

Their upcoming Vita game, Resistance: Burning Skies, will feature two of the best video game composers in the business: Jason Graves of Dead Space and Kevin Riepl of Gears of War.

So yes…the guy responsible for that amazing guitar riff that signals "this battle is over" and the haunting tones of finding COG tags is part of the Burning Skies soundtrack. The guy responsible for scaring the crap out of me via music in Dead Space trailers (ha! like I played those…too much of a pansy) is part of this soundtrack too. I may never play the game, but you can bet I will own this soundtrack.
