XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a New Turn-Based XCOM

GameInformer's latest cover reveal features a guy with a gun and a 1950s inspired alien in the spotlight. That means NEW XCOM, but not the new XCOM you'd expect.

2K's XCOM reboot, or Mass EffeXCOM as I like to call it, has been pushed out to 2013 with this new turn-based title from Sid Meier's Firaxis studio titled XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The alien hunting strategy game also blends in the political process you might expect to see from a civ title as agents will be dealing with government bodies in their missions.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is due out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this Fall.

Star Citizen

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows. Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42). The game will also feature VR support.
