Zero Escape 3 Announced

Publisher Aksys Games held a panel this past weekend, and though I'm sure there are big Aksys fans out there, the most noteworthy thing leading up to the panel was the prospect of a Zero Escape 3 announcement. Well, it happened and the conclusion of the trilogy comes out next year.

Few details were given during the actual panel, aside from an image with the title "Escaping Summer 2016." Clearly that indicates a release window for the game, but some other details were revealed after the panel.

A follow-up press release lists the 3DS and PlayStation Vita as the platforms for Zero Escape 3, much like 2012's Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. It also mentions the eShop and PlayStation store, so Zero Escape 3 may be a download-only title unlike the previous games in the series.

I won't go into details on Zero Escape 3's story because the first two games are integral to the overall experience. If you're a fan of mind-bending narratives and out-of-nowhere twists, then the Zero Escape series is worth a look. Now is the perfect time to join in on the fun.
