New Mainline Monster Hunter Unveiled for 3DS

During this weekend's Nintendo Direct broadcast, the fine folks at Capcom pulled back the curtain on the next proper entry in the Monster Hunter franchise. It's called Monster Hunter X, and will be coming to Japan exclusively for 3DS this coming winter.

Capcom has yet to formally announce the game for North America, but given the series' success all across the globe, it's a matter of when, not if.

Are you invested in the Monster Hunter franchise? If so, are you on board for yet another entry in the series? With such impressive sales, you can't really blame Capcom for pumping new entries out at such a steady clip.
