Battlefield Hardline Goes Gold

Battlefield Hardline, the upcoming first-person shooter from Visceral Games, has officially gone gold.

For those that don't know, Hardline isn't your traditional Battlefield game, as it steps away from the traditional military setting and embraces a different take on team-based gun battles. It's all about cops vs. criminals this time around.

Electronic Arts announced the exciting news of the game's completion via the franchise's official Twitter account:

Battlefield Hardline was originally supposed to release late last year, but was delayed to 2015. You'll be able to finally play the game in just a few weeks when the highly-anticipated first-person shooter hits store shelves on March 17.
