A Lot of Gamers Want to Join Nintendo’s Creator Program

The Big N recently launched its new Creator Program, which gamers can sign up for if they wish to share Nintendo's content online.

The reception to the initial announcement wasn't received with open arms, as the program seeks to take a chunk of the revenue generated by content creators who already make a pretty penny off of sharing videos on YouTube, Twitch, and the like. That said, it hasn't stopped gamers from signing up for the program.

"Due to your enthusiasm for the program, we’re receiving a higher volume of applications to register channels & videos than expected," Nintendo explained. "It is taking longer than we anticipated to confirm the applications. We appreciate your patience as we work through them as quickly as possible."

Nintendo is suggesting that those who apply to the program remove any and all content that isn't included on their supported games list, which you can check out here.
