Dragon’s Dogma Online Announced [Update: Debut Trailer]

[Update] Capcom has just released the debut trailer for its recently-announced MMO, Dragon's Dogma Online. Give it a look above.

[Original] Capcom has just announced Dragon's Dogma Online, an MMO-centric take on its popular action role-playing series.

The official announcement was made in the latest issue of Famitsu (via Gematsu). The title will be free-to-play with built-in microtransations, and is set to come to PlayStation 4, PS3, and PC later this year. Sadly, it doesn't look like Capcom has any intention of releasing it outside of Japan. At least not right now.

Dragon's Dogma Online features a massive open world for players to explore and the same combat mechanics fans of the series have come to love. Yes, you'll be able to climb on creatures!

Stay tuned to GameRevolution for more on this exciting new MMO and keeps those fingers crossed for a western release, as futile as it may seem.
