Plenty of Pokemon TCG Pocket players want to enjoy the game on PC or Mac. However, a quick search will show that DeNA only supports the game on iOS or Android. However, you might be wondering if there’s still a legit way to play Pokemon TCG Pocket on PC and Mac even though there’s not a native app for those platforms.

Can you play Pokemon TCG Pokemon on PC or Mac?

Pokemon TCG Pocket isn’t officially supported on PC or Mac. There’s no app for either platform, and DeNA doesn’t support installing the game using Android or iOS emulation. Unfortunately, this includes devices running Windows on ARM or Apple Silicon, which could play the games natively.

Not only does DeNA not support Pokemon TCG Pocket outside of iOS and Android, but it has also taken steps to block playing it on other devices. Before the game officially launched, players reported that it ran on several Android emulators, including Bluestacks and LDPlayer. However, soon after the worldwide release, an update was pushed that broke compatibility. We haven’t seen any evidence that any version of the game has run on PC or Mac since then.

The closest you’ll get to playing Pokemon TCG Pocket on PC or Mac is using screen mirroring to project your phone or tablet’s display onto your monitor. Unfortunately, this method has some drawbacks. You’ll need to use your device to control the game, and there will likely be some display delay.

DeNA likely won’t support Pokemon TCG Pocket on PC and Mac through emulation or a native app. It may work with emulators at some point in the future, but the developers are actively working to block that functionality. Additionally, playing the game on unsupported platforms is likely against the TOS, which could end in your account being banned in a worst-case scenario.
