Lords of the Fallen Skyrest Bridge Key Location

Lords of the Fallen Skyrest Bridge Key Location

You’ll run into a door requiring the Skyrest Bridge Key early on in your playthrough of Lords of the Fallen. This key is well hidden and easy to miss if you don’t go out of your way to explore. However, it’s optional, and the doors it unlocks provide shortcuts that are more handy than essential.

Where to find the Skyrest Bridge Key in Lords of the Fallen

You’ll find the first door requiring the Skyrest Bridge Key in Lords of the Fallen just before the fight with Pieta. However, you won’t be able to get the key until you defeat her and move through Skyrest Bridge into Pilgrim’s Perch.

The path to get to the Skyrest Bridge Key is a bit arduous and completely optional. However, it does lead to some good items and allows you to unlock an NPC you otherwise wouldn’t see. To get to the key, head through Skyrest Bridge and leave via the path to the right of the Stomund. Pass Andreas of Ebb and Thehk-Ihir to the area filled with scaffolding.

Proceed through the scaffolding, and you’ll find a large area filled with enemies. You’ll notice a path to the right heading into Pilgrim’s Perch. Head inside and activate the Vestige of Chabui, then exit the way you entered and hang a right.

You can crash through some debris here and continue toward the platform’s edge to find a ladder. Descend it, and follow the path below. The main danger here is enemies hidden behind crates that will push you from the narrow path if you cross in front of them.

There are two hanging platforms you’ll need to jump across to proceed. They slowly move from one side to another, so make sure they’re as close to where you want to jump as possible before you make your leap.

Continue past the hanging platforms, and you’ll come to a covered area that contains an elevator. Throw the nearby switch to call it and then step on the nearby switch to ride it upward.

When you get to the drop, continue down the steps, and you’ll arrive at an area with a bridge. You’ll also notice a nearby door that also requires the Skyrest Bridge Key to open, but ignore it for now.

Lords of the Fallen Skyrest Bridge Key Location 2

Cross to the end of the bridge and then transition to the Umbral realm. If you head to the right, you’ll notice that there’s a small ledge you can drop down to. Carefully drop onto the ledge and then defeat the enemies waiting to ambush you in the walls. Pass through the corridor they were hiding in and grab the Crimson Rector Sword so you don’t have to come back here.

Lords of the Fallen Skyrest Bridge Key Location 3

Now, head in the opposite direction and look for a narrow bridge made of bone. In the middle of it is a Umbral Belly. Soulflay it, and you’ll finally get the Skyrest Bridge Key. Be ready to move because taking this key triggers two powerful Umbral enemies.

Now, immediately run to the end of the bridge and use the Emergence Effigy to return to the Axiom. Do not use your Umbral Lamp around here because the two enemies you just avoided can drag you back into their realm if you shine the light on them too long.

Next, you should head up the nearby steps and open the gate with the Skyrest Bridge Key. This creates a shortcut from here back to the hub area. Then, return to where you just used the Emergence Effigy and use the nearby raised ground to return to the double doors near the bridge that required the Skyrest Bridge Key. If you explore inside, you’ll find the Tortured Prisoner NPC and another path back to the hub area.
