A: Unfortunately, there are no drivable vehicles like rovers, hoverbikes, power armor, or mechs in Starfield. Your primary modes of transportation are your ship, your feet, and your jetpack.

A: Power armor and mechs were used in the Colony War, which took place around 20 years before the events of Starfield. After the war ended, one of the conditions of the treaty was the banning of mechs. As a result, you might come across a mech in a museum, but all have been deactivated.

Q: How can I explore planets more efficiently in Starfield?

A: Your options are limited to walking and using your jetpack. It can take time to explore a planet's surface due to the vast distances between points of interest. If you fast-travel, your ship might land some distance away from your destination, so be prepared for some foot travel. It's hoped that future updates, mods, or DLCs might introduce additional transportation options.
