Sons of the Forest Next Update Release Date: When Is the New Patch Coming?

The Sons of the Forest next update release date is March 9. This is the expected date when a new patch will be rolled out to PC players, potentially fixing a host of bugs, glitches, and performance issues.

When is Sons of the Forest getting a new patch to fix bugs and performance?

Sons of the Forest is expected to get a new patch on March 9. This follows Hotfix 1, which was rolled out on February 24 and fixed an issue with removing the book from the backpack locking up the game as well as an issue with input mapping.

For pressing issues like game-breaking glitches, developer Endnight is able to use hotfixes to quickly roll out fixes. However, when bundling a host of bug, glitch, and performance fixes together with additional content, players can expect to see a full-on “patch” announced and deployed.

As a new release within Steam Early Access, bugs and glitches are an expected part of the experience. However, lost progress and poor performance can still be frustrating. Here’s hoping the next patch solves a bunch of problems.
