Sons Of The Forest Release Time for Steam: When Does It Unlock for PC?

Sons of the Forest, a highly sought-after sequel to the extremely popular 2018 crafting and survival horror The Forest, is finally due to unlock on Steam Early Access with its release time arriving in just a couple of hours. Developer Endnight Games is revisiting what it knows best in producing a harrowing survival experience where players will need to use their wits to craft and build while fending off the surrounding and terrifying cannibal-infested remote island dwellers.

What time does Sons of the Forest release on Steam?

Thanks to information provided by the release countdown over on Steam, we know that Sons Of The Forest will release on PC today, February 23 at exactly 9 AM PST. The list of times for other timezones around the world is as follows:

  • US PT – 9 AM
  • US ET – 12 PM
  • UK GMT – 5 PM
  • Europe CET – 6PM

While there’s no official release date for the full 1.0 version of Sons Of The Forest on PC — or even for PS5, PS4, and Xbox — just yet, Endnight have mentioned on the game’s Steam page that they’re hoping for the Early Access period to last “around 6-8 months.” This would place a full 1.0 release of Sons Of The Forest between August and October 2023, given no developer bumps along the way.
