Atomic Heart Change FOV PC Fix: Make Field of View Wider With Mods

Several Atomic Heart change FOV mods have been circulating since the game, even on PC, has no option for a field of view slider in settings. However, there are mods and applications that can help make the FOV wider. Here are three ways that you can change the field of view in Atomic Heart.

How to change Atomic Heart FOV

  1. Custom Field of View – Available on NexusMods, this mod makes it easy to select what field of view you want in Atomic Heart. The mod has separate files that will change FOV to 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, or back to the default.
  2. Flawless Wildscreen – This mod available here allows you to select Atomic Heart from the “Available Plugins” section. After adding it to the installed Plugins list, you’ll see an option to adjust the FOV by up to 40%.
  3. Universal UE4 Unlocker – This app is easy to use but requires you to open it every time you start Atomic Heart. By selecting Atomic Heart and injecting the DLL, you can then press the ‘~’ button to open the command menu and type “fov 120” (or whatever number you see fit) to change the FOV.

Developer Mundfish said in an interview with WCCFTech that there would be no FOV settings for the game on consoles and PC because the game “already features a wide FoV” that is “higher than many other games.” So it looks like players will need to use these mods to change the game’s FOV for the foreseeable future.
