Dark and Darker Console Release Date: Is It Coming to PS5, PS4, and Xbox?

Dark and Darkers hardcore PvPvE dungeon-crawling demo experience has caught many an eye at this year’s Steam Next Fest which is still underway and saw a massive 100,000 peak in player count within its first 24 hours live, but are there any plans for it to arrive on console?

Developers IRONMACE has had much of their focus placed on PC development and bug squashing, making numerous open playtests available to players on Steam prior to Dark and Darker’s eventual 1.0 launch, but luckily there’s hope for PlayStation and Xbox players yet.

Is Dark and Darker coming to consoles?

While there’s been no official announcement from the devs surrounding PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One support or development, one fan managed to tease a response out from IRONMACE on Twitter, and fortunately, it looks like one of the team’s aims is to make Dark and Darker available on both PC and consoles.

Dark and Darker’s demo is live for the remainder of Steam Next Fest until February 13, where PC users can play the current build for free, complete with a new experimental solo area, ‘The Goblin Caves’ — perfect for new players.
