The Quarry Evasive or Honest

The Quarry Evasive or Honest: Which Should I Choose for the Cop?

Another big decision players have to make in the earlier stages of The Quarry is the choice between being Evasive or Honest with the cop. Considering the cop’s tone, and the fact that he is played by Ted Raimi(!), players might be tempted to lie and avoid his questions. However, that might not be the best choice. Here’s an explanation on what each Evasive and Honest choice does and which is one players should choose in The Quarry.

Should I choose Evasive or Honest in The Quarry game?

The Quarry Evasive or Honest

Honest is the best choice in The Quarry.

Though the difference is subtle and not necessarily impactful in the grand scheme of the story and who lives or dies, choosing Honest will make the cop “anxious” instead of simply not believing Laura. For those looking to get the “good ending,” honestly with the police officer is best.

However, for those looking to create chaos between as many characters as possible, choosing Evasive will start Laura and the cop’s relationship off on a bad foot. The cop won’t believe Laura initially and this could factor into how much he trusts her later in the story. Therefore, being as obnoxious and argumentative as possible may be preferred for players with an evil motive.

Ultimately, however, The Quarry’s Evasive and Honesty choice won’t have that significant an impact on what happens in the story. There are much bigger choices that players will have to make, usually identifiable by the “Patch Chosen” notification that appears, which are worth a lot more careful consideration. I wouldn’t worry about “Evasive or Honest” here, though!
