The Wordle answer 353 is now “FLOOD.”
“FLOOD” as a noun means “an overflow of a large amount of water beyond its normal limits, especially over what is normally dry land” or “an outpouring of tears.” As a verb, it means to “cover or submerge (an area) with water in a flood” or “arrive in overwhelming amounts or quantities.” (Definitions from Oxford Languages)
“FLOOD” is tricky because of the double “O” vowel. While vowels are typically easy letters to guess and find, a duplicate can really throw players off. Most players won’t consider duplicate letters until later stages of the game, increasing the likelihood of failure.
Those finding it tricky to work out the right answer may want to try eliminating as many incorrect letters as possible with each new guess. So long as you aren’t playing on Hard Mode, which forces players to use confirmed guesses in all of the subsequent attempts, it’s best to use each new guess to knock out as many potential letters as possible.
