Pokemon Scarlet Violet Legendaries Motorcycles

Fans Believe Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries Will Be Ride-On Vehicles

When the new Pokémon Legendaries were revealed in a new earlier today, fans remarked on their strange design. Now some are coming up with a theory as to why that is. According to that theory, the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet creature designs are very similar to motorcycles and the Legendaries will be used as vehicles to help players get around the new open-world environment.

How can Pokémon become motorcycles?

Several fans have been comparing the designs of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon to different parts of motorcycles. Their chest plates look like the front tires, while they have the same texture on the underneath of their tails that could double up as a rear tire. Their heads have handlebar-like horns and Miraidon even has something that looks like a seat on his back. If you’re having trouble visualizing this, there are plenty of fan diagrams to give you a hand:

Others have theorized their names will be pronounced Ko RIDE ON and Mi RIDE ON, although this has been somewhat thwarted by the Japanese meaning of the names: Korai means something from ancient times while Mirai means something from the future. Having said that, they’ve designed a Hog Pokémon whose name is inspired by Lechon (translated as suckling pig) and called it Lechonk, so anything is possible.

The trailer also showed Pokémon Centers that look incredibly similar to gas stations and a gym that has a passing resemblance to a motocross racing stadium. It could be that these are used as pit stop stations as players travel across the open world on their new vehicles. Do you think the theory holds up?

In other news, fans have also made their feelings perfectly clear over the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet professors. The trailer also showed off five new Pokémon between the two games, including the aforementioned Lechonk.
