The Quordle 101 answer has been revealed for May 5, 2022. Today’s puzzle is thankfully quite simple compared to the other, more challenging Quordles earlier in the week. Some of the words in the solution have some uncommon letters, and one has a tricky double-vowel, but none of them are too challenging. If you’re stuck and need a hint, two of the words are related to houses. Need more help? Then you can look below for the full solution.
What is the Quordle answer 101? (May 5, 2022)

The Quordle answer 101 is:
- “SONIC”
- “SHACK”
- “CABIN”
- “BROOM”
Out of the four, “SONIC” is the most unusual of the bunch with the placement of the “C” in the last position. But considering that all of the words in today’s solution have fairly common consonants and vowels, it shouldn’t be too difficult to get every word correct, especially if you’re able to guess the “B” and “C” early on. In fact, it wouldn’t be a surprise if you complete Quordle 101 in seven guesses or fewer.
Compared to classic Wordle which gives six guesses for one word, Quordle allows nine guesses for four words. This means that the strategy for the beginning of the puzzle is somewhat different as you have more room to work with. It’s recommended that the first few words you try all have distinct letters and include all of the vowels, so that you can eliminate as many letters as possible. This way, by the seventh guess it will make it much easier to figure out the occasional rare letter.
After you’re finished with today’s Quordle, you can continue playing additional puzzles by going to the practice section on the official website. It’s also possible to get a crack at more daily puzzles by changing the time settings on your chosen platform, but it’s risky if you care about maintaining your streak. So if you go down that route, it may be better to use a different browser or device altogether.
