Seven more games will be heading to Xbox Game Pass throughout the start of May 2022, including NHL 22 and Trek to Yomi. Between the new titles, seven games will be heading to console, and six to PC and the cloud gaming service starting today, May 3.
Seven new games coming to Xbox Game Pass
The new games begin arriving today, May 3, after dungeon-crawling action roguelike Loot River launched on day one on consoles, PC, and cloud. In a couple of days’ time on May 5, Trek to Yomi and Citizen Sleeper will also come to Game Pass on both console generations, PC, and cloud.
The following week sees the addition of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition and Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising on consoles, PC, and cloud on May 10. On the same day, This War of Mine: Final Cut will be added for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud too. Finally, NHL 22 becomes available on consoles through EA Play two days later on May 12.
A handful of new Game Pass perks have been added too. Right now, players can grab the Warmonger Hero for For Honor and the No-Brainerz Upgrade pack in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2. The latter includes content like four characters, four abilities, four customization sets, four emotes, and 200 stars. Tomorrow on May 4, the Pass Tense Gungoose Bundle will be available for Halo Infinite with the Gungoose Vehicle Coating, four 2XP Boosts, and four Challenge Swaps.
As usual, the Xbox Wire announcement confirmed the bad news that there are some games leaving the service at the end of the month, including Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas — Definitive Edition on May 10. Six more games, including Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, follow on May 15. In other news, spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have leaked online ahead of the movie’s release in just a few days.
