What Spider-Man: No Way Home deaths are there?

Spider-Man No Way Home deaths

The only character that dies during Spider-Man: No Way Home is Aunt May Parker (Marisa Tomei), as leaked shortly before the movie’s release.

Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man is stabbed by Green Goblin/Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe) in the climax of the movie but seemingly survives. All of the movie’s various villains survive too — Green Goblin, Doc Ock/Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), Electro/Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx), Lizard/Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), and Sandman/Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church). Despite the main Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer 2 hinting that MJ (Zendaya) would die in a similar manner to Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she is saved and lives to the end, as does Ned (Jacob Batalon) and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau).

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man/Peter Parker survives too, although the death of Aunt May affects him deeply and nearly causes him to kill Green Goblin — the one responsible for May’s death, as he throws a pumpkin bomb at her when she tries to cure his Goblin condition. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work and Peter’s attempts to block the bomb are in vain. May dies in Peter’s arms.
