Eevee is a series favorite and has become a secondary mascot for Pokemon. So, it’s no surprise that fans want to catch Eevee in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, getting Eevee in these games isn’t as easy as it is in some other titles, and finding its location can be a real stumper. Additionally, getting it to evolve into Leafeon or Glaceon isn’t as straightforward either.
How to get Eevee in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Players can get Eevee in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl after unlocking the National Dex. After doing so, players just need to head to Hearthome City and walk into the house by the Pokemon Center. Inside, players will find Bebe. She’ll give players an Eevee after a brief conversation.
Unfortunately, there are no wild Eevee locations in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Like some other Pokemon, players can only obtain one per game. To get additional Eevees, players will need to trade for them or breed them at the Pokemon Daycare. The exception to this is that they can sometimes be caught at the Pokemon Mansion.
How to evolve Eevee into Leafeon
In Sword and Shield, players could use a Leaf Stone on Eevee to evolve it into Leafeon. However, in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the process is a bit more complicated.
To evolve Eevee into Leafeon, players must visit Eterna Forest. In the upper left corner of the area, there’s a patch of grass with a boulder resting in it. Examining the boulder gives the message, “The rock is covered in moss. It feels pleasantly cool.”
After examining the rock, players need to level up Eevee once in the grass surrounding it. Doing so will trigger it to evolve into Leafeon.
How to evolve Eevee into Glaceon
Like with Leafeon, it just took a stone to evolve Eevee into Glaceon in Sword and Shield. However, in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players need to visit a specific location to do so.
Outside of Snowpoint City, there is a rock resting in a patch of grass. Examining it gives the message, “The boulder is encrusted with ice. It is bone-chilling to touch.” Once the stone is examined, level up Eevee once in the grass surrounding it to evolve it into Glaceon.
