Here are the tips needed to easily take down the pesky vehicles.

How to kill Far Cry 6 helicopters and tanks the easy way

The best ways to destroy tanks and helicopters in Far Cry 6 include:

  • Use an explosive Supremo weapon — this can easily destroy a tank or helicopter if it hits, especially if it has been improved at a workbench.
  • Find a nearby turret — any type would be sufficient for helicopters, grenade launchers would be best for tanks.
  • Call in an armed vehicle with a turret — best be out of sight of the tank otherwise it’ll destroy the vehicle before it can be entered.
  • Change weapons to deal with the vehicle — simply go to the inventory and choose a better vehicle weapon, like an RPG. Resolver weapons are best.
  • Use an EMP grenade to disable the vehicle and then take it over. This doesn’t destroy it and it is now on the player’s side, which is probably better. EMP grenades can be unlocked at the vendor and crafted at the workbench.
