Is Far Cry 6 Story mode just a fancy name for Easy mode or is there some real difference there? What are the Far Cry 6 Action and Story mode differences?
What is the difference between Far Cry 6 Action mode and Story mode?
Far Cry 6’s Action mode is the main difficulty mode of the game for players who want to focus on a challenging experience, whereas Story mode still has a challenge but there is less risk of defeat.
The Action and Story modes are the only two difficulty options in Far Cry 6, and whichever one the player chooses should be done according to what they want to get out of the experience. The Action mode is the more difficult and should be picked by any players who go into Far Cry 6 expecting it to be a challenging shooter — so they have to be mindful to heal, expect enemies to be able to kill them if they’re not careful, and scouting locations before attacking is important.
The Story mode isn’t the same as the Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tours, which are just chill experiences with no combat, there is still the risk of death, but the player character heals faster and takes less damage. It’s for players who want to get through Far Cry 6 and experience the story and location but either aren’t as good at shooters or just aren’t looking for a challenging FPS.
