Kena: Bridge of Spirits‘ corrupted flowers and corrupted flower shrines are required to be destroyed in order to progress through the game, though it can be difficult to work out how to deactivate them. Without the game giving clear instructions, some players may get stuck on removing the flowers using the Rot after they change from red to blue, believing the issue to be the result of a glitch or bug.. Here’s how to destroy corrupted flowers in Kena
Kena: How to destroy corrupted flower shrines
To destroy corrupted flowers and their shrines in Kena: Bridge of Spirits, you must use a combination of the Rot and your pulse ability.
As you fight in battle, you will pick up orange Courage orbs that fill up the Rot’s meter. When this meter is full, the Rot can perform an action, with one of these actions being to destroy a corrupted flower shrine. Get the Rot to attack the corrupted flowers using square/X, then press L1/LB to activate Pulse. This will destroy the corrupted flower as the Rot are attacking it.
While corrupted flowers can eventually be destroyed, players will typically have to defeat a bunch of enemies before the petals on the flower open up to reveal the seed inside them that can be deactivated. However, if players don’t know to use Pulse, then enemies can appear infinitely on a loop, meaning that some may feel that their game has glitched or that this is a bug. Fortunately, that isn’t the case, even if Kena could give out clearer instructions when it comes to destroying these flowers and progressing.
