Nier Replicant Max Level: What is the level cap?

Like in most other RPGs, progress in Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 is based upon success in battle. Defeating enemies earns experience points that will gradually increase the main character’s level. Still, there is a point at which no more progress can be made. This is commonly referred to as a level cap. So, what is the max level cap in Nier Replicant? Read on to find out.

What is the max level cap in Nier Replicant?

What is the max level cap in Nier Replicant?

The max level cap in Nier Replicant is level 99. Additional progress cannot be made beyond this level cap, no matter how much you fight or experience you gain.

However, chances are good you won’t get anywhere near the max level cap. Reaching level 40 is generally enough to beat the game several times over and earn all endings, including the new Ending E. Leveling up beyond that point is not only difficult, it’s borderline preposterous.

Still, if you want to reach the max level in Nier Replicant, you’re free to do so. Only the end-game enemies will offer enough experience to level up beyond level 40, though. With that in mind, you’ll need to grind all of the end-game areas to have any hope of reaching level 99. But once you do, you can expect Nier to have upwards of 650,000 HP. By then, you’ll more than likely have completed 15 Nightmares and discovered all the game’s most powerful weapons, too.

You shouldn’t have to grind much during a normal playthrough, though. If enemies give you trouble, you can always bump the difficulty setting down. Essentially, only players who want to see how outrageously powerful Nier can become will try to reach beyond level 40.

The max level you can reach in Nier Replicant is level 99, but most players shouldn’t need to grind beyond level 40 or so to beat the game and unlock all endings. Only those truly dedicated to the game will try to reach the level cap.
