Warzone gold gas mask

Warzone Gold Gas Mask Location | Where to find it in Season 2

Following its previous removal, the golden Durable Gas Mask item is now back in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2. Since it was pretty OP the first time around, many players are looking to get their hands on the rare loot once more. Meanwhile, others just want to know if there’s been a CoD: Warzone gold gas mask nerf. With all that in mind, here’s the latest on the golden gas mask in 2021.

How to get the Warzone gold gas mask (2021)

Originally, players were able to find Durable Gas Masks in secret locations throughout the Call of Duty: Warzone map. Despite being well-hidden, users would routinely collect them and gain an insane advantage due to being able to spend long periods inside the gas circle. The developer eventually took them out to preserve the game balance, but now, they’re back in CoD: Warzone Season 2.

The gold Warzone Durable Gas Mask item is located in the Shipwreck map location. Players must make their way to the grounded ship and interact with a computer inside to spawn A.I. zombies. After killing all of the zombies and retrieving the Yellow Key Card from the last corpse, players can open a golden loot crate on the upper level. When playing standard battle royale mode, the supply box will contain a gold gas mask and various other valuable items.

The returning Warzone Season 2 gold gas mask has received a nerf, though it’s still very powerful. This 2021 Durable Gas Mask variation lasts about half as long as the original, which is a big downgrade, for sure, but that remains about twice as long as the next best gas mask.

CoD: Warzone Season 2 won’t last as long as the first, so don’t miss the chance to check out its new golden gas mask. When the beginning of Warzone Season 3 comes around, there’s no guarantee it will be available at the same location — if at all.
