Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season 2 (2021) is now live, introducing a big chunk of content to the game including new operators, weapons, maps, modes, and an influx of zombies meddling where they shouldn’t be. It’s an exciting time for CoD fans, but the ticking timer in the background can be intimidating. With players aiming to reach Tier 100 on the Battle Pass and/or achieve Prestige Master for this season, it’s important to consider the Call of Duty Season 2 end date.
When does Call of Duty Season 2 end?
Call of Duty Season 2 ends on April 21, 2021. This applies to both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
The number of days remaining in Season 2 can be found on the Battle Pass page. At launch, there are 55 days left. This is significantly shorter than the 70 days players had to complete the Season 1 Battle Pass.
On the plus side, this means that players won’t have to wait as long for the next season and all of the content that it will no doubt content.
On the downside, players have fewer days to complete the Battle Pass and/or reach their desired level through XP. I personally managed to hit Battle Pass 100 and level 200 with a few days to spare, so I’m feeling the pressure of having less time this go around.
Hopefully there will be plenty of double XP and double Battle Pass progression events to help make up the loss of time.
The new Season 2 update started its rollout on February 23, providing two days for players to get the patch downloaded and installed. The patch notes provided a comprehensive preview of everything coming in Season 2 for both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
