Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 is finally here, bringing with it tons of exciting new content. That includes a mysterious Yellow Key Card, the Shipwreck point of interest, and hordes of undead A.I. zombies. Although it might not be clear initially, all of these things share a common link. Here’s the CoD: Warzone Yellow Key Card location and how to open yellow loot crates.

Uncovering the associated mysteries is all part of the fun when it comes to zombies’ inclusion in the Call of Duty franchise, and it’s no different for Warzone. News of the added Yellow Key Card item quickly spread and led to internet sleuths speculating on its use, while others sought out how to retrieve it in-game. Thanks to the efforts of the community, all is now clear.

The Call of Duty: Warzone Yellow Key Card is located in the new Shipwreck point of interest. After reaching the beached ship, users must kill the zombies lurking inside. A randomly designated zombie will drop the Kellow Key Card item, which players can then pick up and use to open yellow supply crates containing quality loot.

Where are the zombies in Warzone?

CoD: Warzone Season 2 zombies are located in the Shipwreck portion of the map. Players will find undead enemies nestled within the ship and can kill them for a chance to gain the new Yellow Key Card item. The Warzone Yellow Key Card allows users to open golden/yellow loot crates that are otherwise inaccessible.

Call of Duty Season 2 will be much shorter than the first. As such, don’t delay in checking out all of the new content before CoD Season 3 begins!

In the meantime, here’s what to do when any of the Call of Duty games randomly boot players out.
