Little Nightmares 3

Little Nightmares 3 | Will there be a sequel?

Little Nightmares 2 has just launched but fans of the horror series are already wondering if there will be a sequel. With LN2 ending with a big twist and cliffhanger, it would make sense for there to be a Little Nightmares 3. Here’s the need-to-know about Tarsier Studios next game and what could happen to Six in a Little Nightmares 3. (Watch out for spoilers below!)

Is there going to be a Little Nightmares 3?

Little Nightmares 3

Based on the normal ending, players might think that there must be a sequel coming, as Six’s story is left unfinished. However, for those that have seen the secret ending, it appears that Six’s story is complete as she is encouraged to go to The Maw for the original Little Nightmares narrative.

With Little Nightmares 2 potentially being a prequel to Little Nightmares, it begs the question: Where and when would a sequel take place? If the developer is sticking with Six’s story, it’s not unreasonable to think that a Little Nightmares 3 would be yet another prequel set before Little Nightmares 2.

Little Nightmares 3 could tell the story of how Six came to be captured by The Hunter in the forest chapter and explore more about the world as it became corrupt. There is also the opportunity to explore more children, with Mono (One) and Six being the only kids to feature in the mainline games.

Tarsier Studios has yet to confirm or deny whether the team will be working on a sequel (or prequel) to Little Nightmares 2. Though, I’m sure fans of the games will be disappointed if this is the end of the line for Six.

The yellow hat is arguably the best one in the game, but it can be tricky to unlock. This guide reveals the easy way to get it.
