How to pass time in Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals Fenyx Rising | How to pass time

Some parts of Immortals Fenyx Rising are only available at night, making the need to pass time in the game to be quite necessary for those wanting to get all the upgrades. These are mainly used in unlocking night chests, which are, as the name says, chests that only open at night. Here’s how to pass time in Immortals and change the daytime to nighttime.

How to pass time in Immortals Fenyx Rising

To pass time in Immortals, players just simply have to find a nice, quiet spot with no enemies. Once that happens, just simply press and hold the Options button (or the “Start” button) on the controller. Fenyx will sit down on the ground, the sun or moon will circle overhead, and about 12 hours will pass.

The player will get up to a new time of day, which is, once again, perfect for pilfering night chests. These chests have a lot of goodies in them (that the player can use to upgrade their weapons and gear) and accompany quite a tough fight. Opening night chests is also part of one of Hermes’ quests (although this one does not grant elektrum). Opening just one will net the player the “Moonlight Treasure” trophy or achievement. There are at least 10 night chests in the game right now and any one of them will do. Their locations are in this guide here.

Aside from night chests, there does not seem to be a reason to change from night to day. Enemy patterns do not seem to change much if at all and it does not appear to have any special events at night or during the day. If there are changes, they are subtle to the point of being almost nonexistent. It might be good for some photo mode photos though, as the lighting can provide some unique pictures.
