Pokemon Pikachu Distribution passwords are a new feature that has been added to Pokemon Sword and Shield that allows Trainers to unlock eight special Pikachu variants. However, these new models can’t be unlocked without the proper Hat Pikachu Codes.

Pokemon Pikachu Distribution passwords can be used to unlock one of eight special Pikachu models in Pokemon Sword and Shield. This was one of many new features revealed in the Pokemon Direct that detailed new features for the Crown Tundra that builds on the existing Expansion Pass content introduced with The Isle of Armor.

One of the Hat Pikachu codes was revealed to coincide with this announcement, but anxious Trainers will have to wait to get the rest; as Serebii reports, these Pokemon Pikachu Distribution passwords will be released throughout October 2020.
How to use the Hat Pikachu codes
Trainers must enter Mystery Gift codes to get these new Pikachu variants. Once complete, a new Pokemon will be added to the player’s party or Pokemon Box. Here’s how to use the Pokemon Pikachu Distribution passwords according to the game’s website:
- Launch Pokemon Sword and Shield.
- Select “Mystery Gift” on the X Menu.
- Select “Get With Code/Password” to connect to the Internet.
- Enter one of the Pokemon Pikachu Distribution passwords.
- The new Hat Pikachu will arrive in the player’s party or Pokemon Box.
Nintendo also advises Trainers to save the game once the new Pikachu has been granted.
