Players will pick up Blue, Green, and Red Shards in Pokemon Legends Arceus, but their use won’t be readily apparent. As these take up more space in a player’s inventory, they’ll likely wonder what use they are. However, they aren’t just junk that should be thrown away. In fact, they have the potential to be very valuable.
What do you do with colored shards in Pokemon Legends Arceus?
Players can use blue, Green, and Red Shards in Pokemon Legends Arceus to craft Star Pieces, which can be sold for 5,000 Pokedollars. The recipe to make a Star Piece is:
- 3 Blue Shards
- 3 Green Shards
- 3 Red Shards
- 1 Bag of Stardust
The initial investment to get the recipe is fairly steep. The recipe can be obtained from Anvin at the Craftworks in Jubilife Village for 10,000 Pokedollars, but since it unlocks pretty late in the game, it shouldn’t make too much of a dent in players’ pockets. The big thing to remember is to hold on to any colored shards and Stardust until the recipe becomes available. If it’s not there yet, just complete the next story mission and check back.
Trainers can find colored shards from two sources:
- Alpha Pokemon
- Space-Time Distortions
Of the two, exploring Space-Time Distortions in Pokemon Legends Arceus will net players the most shards. However, since other rare items and Pokemon are available in the distortions, it’s not always best to try and farm Blue, Green, and Red Shards. Instead, just players should just pick them up when they can.
Collecting shards and making Star Pieces is one of the best ways to farm money in the game. These are renewable resources and don’t depend on any story events to obtain. So, those who are completionists and want to buy everything (like all the satchel spaces) can use this to make their dreams come true.
