Players can view firework shows every Sunday during the month of August. Although it hasn’t been confirmed by Nintendo at the time of writing, you may also need to play at night.
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons firework displays schedule is as follows:
- Sunday, August 2
- Sunday, August 9
- Sunday, August 16
- Sunday, August 23
- Sunday, August 30
In addition to watching the fireworks, it appears that Redd will be running a stall named “Redd’s Raffle” during fireworks shows. Exact details surrounding the Redd’s Raffle stand are currently unknown, though players will presumably need to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win items. Whether or not dubious fox Redd will try to swindle players in any way remains to be seen.
Available items include a party horn, bubble wand, and sparklers. In addition to snagging new items, players can launch their own custom-designed fireworks for the first time. The reveal trailer showcased a few examples, including the firework image of Tom Nook pictured above.
Custom fireworks will most likely only be available during the designated displays, so be sure to snap a screenshot and invite some friends over to immortalize your designs.
