Of course, he’s made his return in Animal Crossing: New Horizons after you’ve gotten at least a three-star island.

Strangely, players are seeing this fan-favorite character popping up a bit early in the game. Why is there KK Slider on Friday in Animal Crossing? It’s all due to a very simple reason that many musicians are familiar with: scheduling conflicts.
Why is K.K. Slider in town on Friday?
One reason K.K. Slider will show up in town a day early is due to something else occupying the town square. For example, the first Bug-Off for the Northern Hemisphere takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Much like the Fishing Tourney, the Bug-Off places a stall in the town square — and there can’t be two special NPCs in the town square at the same time.
Because of this conflict, it looks like Nintendo has done the only sensible thing they could: they’ve made K.K. Slider show up one day early. It certainly seems like a sensible compromise, and I think most of us would agree that it’s a better idea than him not showing up at all.
So, if you were wondering, “Why is there KK Slider on Friday in Animal Crossing?” — now you have your answer! We may see him show up on Fridays in the future when other special events take place on Saturday.
