The Last of Us 2 So Great and Small trophy is probably exactly what you think it is: an Uncharted Easter egg. This is one similar to the Jak and Daxter Easter egg in the game, but ironically much less egg-like. But how do you find the Engraved Ring in TLOU2? And what chapter is it in? There are no spoilers in this guide so you should be fine reading ahead if you haven’t finished the game since this collectible is very early on.

The Engraved Ring in The Last of Us 2 is in the Seattle Day 1 chapter in the Downtown segment, which is the big open area with all of the shops. And while you should explore those areas as well, the ring is in the bank, which is in the western side of the map as you can see in the above picture.
Go into the bank. Clear out the enemies if you can. Doing so opens up the note you’ll need for the safe combo. Once the enemies are cleared out, go into the room on the left side with the vault and read the note for the safe code: 60-23-06.

Once you get inside the vault, go find the lockbox near the cart of money and open it. You might not see anything. The little box looks empty, which isn’t uncommon in this game where scarcity plagues the lands.
However, the ring is in there. It is just very small and incredibly easy to miss. Tilt the camera up in order to see it.
It shows up as a regular artifact so pick it up with the Triangle button. If you examine it, it says “Sic Parvis Magna 29 Januarie 1596 9 32 79” on the outside. Nathan Drake would be proud if he wasn’t most likely dead in this fiction.
