Jedi Fallen Order can you beat Crusher Hagop first time

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order | Can you beat Crusher Hagop first time?

If you encountered a Bounty Hunter called Crusher Hagop on Zeffo and came up short, you might be wondering whether things could’ve gone differently. Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis runs into Hagop whilst returning to the Mantis after completing the Tomb of Miktrull, though the fight most likely doesn’t pan out as you’d hope. So, in Jedi: Fallen Order can you beat Crusher Hagop first time? Here’s everything you need to know about the introductory battle.

Is it possible to beat Crusher Hagop during the first encounter?

The initial Crusher Hagop boss battle is thrust upon players as they attempt to leave Zeffo bound for the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk. At first, you’ll probably assume that the battle is a random mini-boss encounter similar to those housed elsewhere within the game, but soon it becomes clear that isn’t the case.

No matter how competently you perform in the boss encounter, unfortunately, it isn’t possible to beat Crusher Hagop first time around. At some point during the fight, it’s certain that Cal will become paralyzed and then be captured by the Bounty Hunter. Your first clue that there’s something amiss is that rather than displaying “Respawn” the loading screen following your defeat instead reads”Reawaken.”

Cal’s imprisonment is integral to the (canon) Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order narrative, kickstarting a section that sees him stripped of his lightsaber and droid companion BD-1. The culmination of the ensuing escape sees players battle Hagop for a second time, however, with the ending of the battle being far more definitive this time around.

After making a name for himself with the Bounty Hunters (in a bad way, no doubt), Cal will now randomly encounter pairs of them whilst adventuring throughout the rest of the game.
