What is the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 release date? It’s been a long time since the release of the original Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in 2019, which is one of the best Star Wars games released in over a decade, and developer Respawn has been hard at work on a sequel ever since. Rumors now suggest the game will be revealed this year, but what is the Fallen Order 2 PC and console release date going to be?
When is the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 release date on PC and consoles?
The release date for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will likely be November 2022, if the game is revealed at or before E3.
The original Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released in November 2019, so November 2022 would be exactly three years later — a normal amount of time for a big-budget sequel if development hasn’t been impacted too much by the pandemic.
In the January 6 episode of GrubbSnax, journalist Jeff Grubb talked about Fallen Order 2 and suggested that fans could “expect to hear about the game in a significant way before E3.” It also seems very likely that the game will then make a big splash at E3 2022 with a full release date announcement. Incidentally, it probably won’t be called “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2” since the franchise is Star Wars Jedi and Fallen Order is just the subtitle.

Will there be a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Xbox One and PS4 release?
If Fallen Order 2 releases this year there is a strong possibility that the game will be a cross-gen release on Xbox One and PS4 alongside Xbox Series X and PS5. The original game only just got a proper next-gen update and EA’s highest profile release in the last few months was Battlefield 2042, and that was cross-gen. Any further sequels will be PS5 and Xbox Series X only, however.
Is there a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Switch Release Date?
At the moment it is highly unlikely that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will release on Nintendo Switch, as the first game never did.
