Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Demon 44

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Demon 44 | How to find Kunekune

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is packed full of demons ready to eviscerate you, and the game even keeps a handy log of every one you’ve defeated. Players have already begun to fill up their demon logs, but even the most careful castle collectors are finding themselves baffled over the location and identity of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Demon 44. This demon, real name Kunekune, can only be found in a single place in a special way. Here’s how to find the creature and kill it.

Where to find Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Demon 44

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Demon 44 location

To find Demon 44, you’ll have to go underground and board the train. We’ve already shown you how to do this the first time, but at that point you’ll be on a timer and accompanied by Zangetsu, so you’ll have no chance to find Demon 44 then. Instead, board the train again from the start, and you’ll be free to explore it this time. Head to the second carriage, at the area above, and you’ll see a seat bathed in moonlight. Sit down, and the view will switch to first-person as Miriam looks out of the window at the castle, the lake, and the trees going by.

This is where the fun begins. Wait for about one minute, and Miriam will start to fall asleep. You’ll eventually notice… something on the lake, far in the distance. We won’t spoil the surprise, but that something attacks. The Kunekune is a tough enemy, and will curse you if it hits you. Head back to the carriage on the left and you should be able to give it the run around, and defeat it.

What do you get for killing the Kunekune?

Other than finally getting a complete log entry on Demon 44 in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, you’ll also get a unique yellow shard called ‘Resist Curses’, which when equipped, well, increases your resistance to being cursed. Bet you wish you had that a few minutes ago, don’t you? Still, it’s a handy one to keep.
