The Bloodstained 1.10 update patch notes might be the best content drop the game has seen so far. As promised, this is the Bloodstained Zangetsu update, letting players control as the swordsman voiced by David Hayter, who you might know as a certain Snake or two. This update notes also come with the Randomizer that gives players control over how random the game is. It isn’t the initially promised rogue-like that was in the Ritual of the Night Kickstarter, but it seems like a good alternative. And, of course, there are some bug fixes.
Bloodstained 1.10 Update Patch Notes | Zangetsu
Players can now control Zangetsu. He is supposed to be faster than Miriam but can’t use shards. The game also will bar players from “consumables, equipment, crafting, treasure chests, quests, and story cutscenes.” He’s a different character and this seems a lot like new character spliced in rather than a new, big DLC story.
ALSO: Bloodstained roguelike mode axed in favor of Randomizer mode, co-op still missing
Here’s how to play as Zangetsu in Bloodstained.
Bloodstained 1.10 Update Patch Notes | Randomizer mode
The Randomizer gives players total control over how they play Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It lets players choose how random they want specific parts of the game. It lets players truly experiment and change up the game from food recipes to item locations. Some elements can be completely random while others a little less so.
Here’s how to unlock the Randomizer mode in Bloodstained.
