Fallout 76 – Beta Time, Fallout Classic, and More

The Fallout 76 beta time has been revealed by Bethesda. The beta is scheduled to kick off at 7 PM ET for both PC and PS4 and is due to run for four hours until 11 PM ET. Times in PT and GMT are:

  • 4 PM PT to 8 PM PT.
  • 11 PM GMT to 3 AM GMT.

On top of the beta time, Bethesda has revealed details on the Fallout Classic edition that comes with a Fallout 76 pre-order. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fallout 76 beta for PC and PS4, as well as all of the final details about how to get the Fallout Classic bundle.

Fallout 76 – Beta Time and Details

Just like the Xbox One beta from last week, the Fallout 76 beta time for PC and PS4 will be divided into short sections, interspersed throughout the week. The first one will run this evening, starting at 7 PM ET. Throughout the week, beta times may vary as the beta is mostly inclined towards testing server strength and support across all platforms at all times.

Players who have pre-ordered Fallout 76 will be granted a code to access the beta. Codes will be sent to the email associated with your PS4 account, or available at Bethesda.net if you’re a PC player. All you need to do is set up an account and follow the very simple in-client instructions in order to secure yourself a slot in the beta, which contains the full version of Fallout 76.

Be sure to pay attention to Bethesda’s reporting during the beta on Twitter, as they will be posting all of the times during which it will be live. It is important to emphasize that the beta will not be available 24/7 and in order to take part you’ll need to log in to Fallout 76 in accordance with Bethesda’s schedule.

Fallout 76Fallout Classic Edition

The Fallout Classic edition will be made available in the same way as beta codes. It includes Fallout 1Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics, so if you were a latecomer to Bethesda’s infamous franchise, pre-ordering Fallout 76 will grant you access to the games that contributed to making Fallout as we know it today.

It’s important to note that as of now, this only works for digital pre-order of Fallout 76 on PC, meaning that not all players will have access to the Fallout Classic bonus.

Also, Fallout Classic will not be added to the user’s library until November 14, when the full version of Fallout 76 is released. If you’re taking part in the beta this week, don’t be worried if the other bonus content isn’t showing up yet; it’s on its way, and you’ll have it as soon as the game launches fully in two weeks.

So a pre-order will not only get you a slot in the beta; it will grant you access to some of the original Fallout titles, too, if you happen to play on PC. The beta may be kicking off already, but you can pre-order right up until November 14 in order to reap the benefits of having access to earlier Fallout titles.

Fallout 76 will launch on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 14, 2018. The beta for PC and PS4 kicks off this evening, so if you’ve pre-ordered the game, grab your code and check it out later on. All of your progress will carry over into the main game when it launches in November, so now is your chance to get a head-start in order to gain a serious competitive advantage when the game is released in full.
