Similar to New Leaf, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp begins with ole’ KK Slider playing you a song on his guitar and greeting you with some pretty suspicious questions. In the 3DS game, similar questions would determine how your character looked in-game.
However, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp allows you to predetermine your character’s design and gender, so you may be wondering what these questions mean then. That’s where we come in. Here’s our Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Question guide to make sure that your camp is exactly how you want it to be.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Question Guide: What does KK Slider and Isabelle’s Questions Mean?
KK Slider’s seemingly innocent question of “What would you do on vacation tomorrow?” helps determine your gameplay through what kind of campsite you will have in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. There are a total of four different themes: cool, natural, sporty, and cute. Simply choose which of the three answers fits you most and, worry not, as you will be able to confirm and change what your campsite is like later.
It is continued once you’ve finished creating character and meet Isabelle. After choosing your name, Isabelle will ask you to describe your ideal campsite in one word, with the four aforementioned themes as your choices. Whichever you choose will determine what kind of campsite you will have.
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Question Guide: How the Questions Affect Your Campsite
While this is a huge decision to make right off the bat, it isn’t as important as it may seem. Each theme simply gives you a set of free furniture to immediately decorate your campsite with. That furniture is preferred by one of four animals in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, making it easier to invite that specific person to your campsite.
If you aren’t sure which one to pick, you can select any of the four and it will give you a small preview. For instance, the cool theme will setup a stage for performances that appeals most to Apollo the eagle. If you pick a theme and decide you don’t like it, you can simply reinstall Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and try a new one.
It isn’t that serious of a choice, as you are able to acquire all types of furniture from all four themes no matter which you choose. This can be done by leveling up your character and crafting the item using the correct materials. In fact, you have to craft certain items from the cool, sporty, cute, and natural themes if you wish to invite more animals to hang out at your campsite. You can check that by going to each animal’s specific info in the menu.
