There’s not an official calendar for Pokemon TCG Pocket. However, dataminers have given us a clear picture of when expansions and events release dates will fall for the first few months. So, you can read below to see what’s coming up next for the game in the immediate future.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Expansion Set and Event Calendar
Thanks to dataminers, we know all the Pokemon TCG Pocket expansion set, promo, and event release dates through January 2025:
- November 28 – December 12: Venusaur Drop Event: You can face the AI in a series of battles for a chance to earn a promo booster containing one of five cards.
- December 5-19 – Bulbasaur and Magnemite Event:
- – December 5-12 – Part 1: New event-exclusive Bulbasaur and Magnemite promo cards will be available. An event-specific store page will also be available where you can purchase cosmetic items with event tickets.
- – December 12-19 – Part 2: More content will become available.
- December 16, 2024 – Mini Set A1a Release Date: This will be a small set consisting of cards not found in Genetic Apex. The new cards will likely contain new mechanics that’ll shake up the current meta.
- January 29, 2025 – Expansion Set A2 Release Date: The next large expansion will bring a new set of cards around the size of Genetic Apex. Unfortunately, the theme and name of the collection haven’t leaked yet.
Given the gap between the release of Mini Set A1a and Expansion Set A2, we can speculate that a few events will also occur between December 16 and January 29. However, evidence of these has yet to be leaked or datamined.
