Where do I go in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree after Belurat?

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Where to Go After Belurat Map

When you reach the sealed tower in Belurat in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, you’ll find a letter from Leda stating that she intends to follow Miquella’s crosses east. After leaving Belurat, you can return to the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace and speak with the NPCs there to get a clue of where to go next. The Hornsent will present you with a Cross Map, showing you that one lies across the Ellac Greatbridge east of your location.

The game strongly points you in the direction of Castle Ensis. Here, you’ll find a contingent of Liurnians who went rogue and joined Messmer, including Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight, sister to Rennala. Proceeding through Castle Ensis, you’ll reach Scadu Atlus, another large branching area.

However, this isn’t the only path to Scadu Atlus. You can bypass Castle Ensis entirely by veering toward the southeast after crossing Ellac Greatbridge. Nearby, you’ll find a path leading downward toward the Ellac River. However, if you hug the canyon walls to the north, you’ll eventually reach a shack called Elder’s Hovel.

Near Elder’s Hovel, you can activate a Sealed Spiritspring by smashing the corresponding cairn nearby. After doing so, you can use it to leap to a cliff above where another Spiritspring waits. Use this one, and you’ll be propelled upward onto the battlements of the Fort of Reprimand. Navigate your way out of the fort and you’ll be in Scadu Atlus without needing to pass through Castle Ensis.
