Elden Ring Update 1.10 Patch Notes: Nerfs, Buffs, and Bug Fixes

The Elden Ring update 1.10 patch notes show Bandai Namco is still plugging away at balance changes and bug fixes. The newly released 1.10 patch brings a myriad of changes to the game, most of which affect PvP balance. Additionally, there are tweaks and adjustments to some skills and weapons. There’s nothing too exciting, but it’s good to see FromSoftware isn’t just letting the game stay dormant until the DLC is released.

Elden Ring update 1.10 brings minor adjustments to the game. Don’t expect any content drops or major changes here. Instead, it’s mostly bug fixes and minor tweaks.

PvP-Exclusive Balance Adjustments

Note: These don’t affect single-player or co-op.

  • A rise in poise damage linked to all weapons and specific spells and incantations.
  • Certain attacks, spells, and incantations now provide increased poise during execution.
  • Damage reduction has been introduced when using select skills and weapons.
  • The angles of critical hits have been widened.
  • The invincibility period during Quick Step and Hound’s Step skills has been reduced.
  • The damage reduction offered by certain skills, incantations, and items has been reduced.

General Balance Adjustments

  • Damage caused by critical hits has seen an increase.
  • The recovery period after an unsuccessful critical hit has been shortened.
  • After missing a critical hit, subsequent attacks will cause greater poise damage.

Bug fixes and miscellaneous changes

  • Player damage animation is adjusted so that the attack direction is not shifted by getting hit while attacking with some weapons that generate poise.
  • Fixed a bug that kept some incantations and spells from inflicting damage when the player is affected by some items and skills.
  • Fixed a bug with Sacred Order which caused it to continue after changing weapons.
  • Corrected text in multiple languages.

Following this update, you’ll find the app is marked as App Ver. 1.10 and Regulation Ver. 1.10 on the Title Screen. Please note you must apply the patch to continue playing online.
